Shawn Andrews in EUREKA

This movie exists ony as a bootleg tape secretly shot off the screen the one and only time EUREKA was ever screened. The film was burned after the screening and this tape fell into Matthew Harrison's hands after certain "friends" in New York City tracked down the bootleg scum. Shawn Andrews delivers a shocking performance as the Pilgrim on his downtown spiritual quest.

Synopsis:
A solitary Pilgrim journeys through a strange land in search of God. The Pilgrim carries a shield as protection. The Pilgrim meets a priest bearing a divine mechanism. The Pilgrim asks the Priest how to find God. The Priest tells the Pilgrim that the shield is preventing the Pilgrim from finding God. If the Pilgrim is to find God, he must first cast aside his shield. In a rage, the Pilgrim smashes his shield and casts it away. Now blinded and burned without his shield, the Pilgrim continues his journey. The Pilgrim collapses, wretched in the failure of his quest and tormented by his foolishness in following the advice of the Priest. The Pilgrim removes his shoes and feels the ground beneath his feet. The Pilgrim reaches into his pocket and, to his surprise, finds food. The Pilgrim eats.
